Have you recently had a day where it seems like nothing is going right? A day where there are obstacles in front of you that seemed to appear out of nowhere? Do most of the obstacles seem like major setbacks? Do you feel like giving up on some of your goals? If you answered yes to these questions, you may feel that there must be something to help you out through this difficult time. And certainly there are many things to help: good friends, reading an inspirational book, a hard Training session, ‘losing’ yourself in your garden or other hobbies, and other things you routinely do when things are not hitting the gym. But here’s another suggestion that may help even quicker than any of the above-mentioned solutions: Stand on the word of the Lord for your strength and take a stance of power. I discover that when I do this, my whole psyche changes to that of a powerful warrior waiting for the Lord to give me with a new adventure. Somehow He will get parting the waters as He parted the Red Sea, and the expectancy of a new miracle is the result. In an instant, the ‘down’ thinking has been swapped out with hope. What word do you stand on all through troubled times? I have been using Isaiah 54: 17, and I repeat it about 20 times until it sinks in. With each repetition, the hope gets stronger. It’s beautiful! Here’s the verse, according to the American King James Version: No weapon that is formed with you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their own righteousness is of me, said the LORD. When you stand on the Word, you stand in a position where God sustains you. You know in your spirit that He will pick you up when you’re down. No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper. That includes health troubles, gossip, sarcastic comments, criminal actions, financial woes, judgments with you, personal relationship issues, and any other type involving problem. No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper. Not with the Lord on your side. If you might have never turned your life over to the Lord Christ Christ, do so now. You’ll never look back. Stand on His Word for your strength and you will watch amazing transformations in your life occur. Keep an archive of them! You’ll want to tell others of His goodness. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. .
